Downy and Warbler

Saw this downy eating suet with a pine warbler today, took this shot of them before they flew away. Downy's are such a pretty bird, one of my favorite wood peckers..~Whitney

  1. It is wonderful to have a warblers to come to suet feeders, we had Yellow-rumps that came to ours.

    1. Yeah, we call yellow rumped warblers butter butts.. because of the yellow patch.. we see them too, but not a whole lot.. we mainly see pine warblers.

    2. 'butter butts' are the most common warbler we have here, but in the winter we don't have them. Too cold.
