Bald Eagles

My family and me took a little trip to NY this past week,to see some family members.. we had a great time.. anyways, to get down to the birdy business part; we were going by a lake to go eat, and as we were passing by this big long lake, I saw an Eagle! sitting eating a fish or something.. before that my mom saw a blue heron, stretching his wings.. then looked a little while after that and saw a Bald Eagle.. so amazing.. then that same day, we were coming by the same pond maybe before it or after it, and saw one flying overhead.. never in my life have I seen a bald eagle fly, or much less sit in a lake eating.. anyways, that's what I saw.. ~Whitney

Squirrel Yoga

There is nothing like sitting on the front porch, watching a little squirrel playing in the trees.. This is Tiny, if you haven't met her yet, she is one of our squirrels that we feed peanuts to. She was so full of energy today, that I took numeral pictures of her doing goofy stuff.. This is just one of many pictures.. I call it Squirrel Yoga.. Go to the photo section of this blog to view all of todays bird and squirrel pictures, Enjoy! ~Whitney

Rockin Robin!

Each year we see flocks of American Robins in our yard, trees & sky... they never really stop here but to grab a bite to eat at the Cedar tree.. This morning there was a flock of American Robins at the water bowl that we keep out for the birds & squirrels year round... I never seen that many robins at the water bowl before... Even the European Starlings were at the bowl joining in.. This is just one of many good shots that I have gotten of the Robins... check out the photo page for more photos! and remember, to keep plenty of fresh, unfrozen, water in a bowl for your feathered friends! you never know what might stop in for a drink... ~Whitney
